This is a video of our latest conversion of the Kato N Scale Union Pacific E9A with our Sound and lighting package.
The mod starts with complete dis-assembly of the loco. We remove the dummy Kato ditch light housings and install the THT Ditch lights with lenses and illuminate with THT LED assemblies. We also re-orient the MU and brake line hoses. The roof beacon is illuminated with our LED assembly as well as the nose headlight. All are installed to prevent light leakage into the cab.
The LokSound Micro ver 4 is hard wired and the frame is milled to accept the LokSound cube speaker. The mod is completed with our custom project that includes a custom sound mix.
