We review one of the most famous wines in the world, a champagne, and not only that a world-renowned champagne G. H. Mumm's Cordon Rogue, translated into English as Red Cord or Red Sash.
We managed to get a 46% discount off of it's normal price so we couldn't miss the opportunity to buy and review a bottle!
The champagne is now defined as a colour and so obviously this champagne is a champagne colour, but slightly more yellow in colour than many champagnes.
The nose is very delicate with just a scent of crisp green apples and missing is that yeasty bread-like smell which you normally associate with champagne.
On the palate, there is a lot more taste however the wow factor is definitely not there, and the taste does not last exceptionally long at all.
Whilst this wine is not as acidic as some cheaper champagnes this wine is not particularly impressive.
In summary, this champagne is not bad, but then again not outstanding.
