As the data center (DC) consumption continues to increase, the data centers infrastructure continue to increase resources to support additional demand. Sustainability of these additional resources requires a mechanism to measure and report various data points for continuous improvements in a sustainable way. The Data Center Efficiency Metrics (DCEM) workstream continues to make improvements in the DC infrastructure metrics. This presentation will highlight the DCEM accomplishments (Power and Telemetry, IUE), milestones, challenges-opportunities and new initiatives under consideration such as need for unified performance per energy metrics.
