In this video I share my experience with two different tuners and how the right one saved me thousands of dollars on my 2010 Camaro transmission.
After upgrading my cam and torque converter, my Camaro was slipping, clunking, and I couldn't get through all 6 gears without issues.
The first tuner, with 30 years experience, told me the transmission needed a complete $4000 rebuild. But after getting a second opinion from a different tuner for just $550, all those mechanical problems disappeared.
This taught me that all tuners aren't created equal, sometimes a good mechanic can be a bad tuner, and it's worth getting a second opinion before making expensive decisions.
