Tiger 'had pill bottle' in crashed SUV & star was 'combative' to rescuers

Описание: TIGER Woods had an unmarked pill bottle in his SUV when he crashed at 87mph - and was "somewhat combative" to first responders, police said.  Woods was injured in a high-speed crash in Los Angeles on February 23 after hitting a medium, a curb and a tree, sending the SUV he was driving airborne.  A new accident report, obtained by TMZ, says that Los Angeles County Sheriff's Office deputies found an "empty plastic pharmaceutical container" in the backpack that was apparently thrown from Woods' car during the crash.  The container was not labeled and "there was no indication as to what, if anything, had been inside," the report said.  The report also said that the 45-year-old golf legend was "somewhat combative" when first responders arrived on the scene.  Woods was apparently in shock as EMTs tried to free him from the car, and was unsure of what state he was in after briefly losing consciousness in the crash.  However, the golfer was "responsive" when first responders got to the scene, the report said.  "Captain Levesque told me that [Woods] was somewhat combative when they were trying to treat him on scene,” the report says.  "Levesque stated everything that he observed related to [Woods’] vital signs and combativeness was consistent with the type of traumatic injury."  Police didn't perform any field sobriety tests on Woods or collect blood samples because there was no indication that he was intoxicated, officers said.  Authorities announced during a Wednesday press conference that Woods had been going 87mph, nearly double the speed limit in the area, at the time of the crash.  There was also no indication that the golfer tried to break.  The LA County Sheriff's department also said on Wednesday that Woods will not be charged in the crash.  Woods had been back home to host his PGA tournament, the Genesis Invitational at Riviera Country Club, when the crash happened in February.  He was driving an SUV loaned to him by the tournament when he struck a raised median in Rolling Hills Estates, just outside Los Angeles.  Officials confirmed that they "helped him sit up a little bit and tried to extract him from the vehicle by breaking the sunroof, but it didn't break."  They also confirmed that the sports icon was "dazed and confused" but was later answering questions in the emergency room.  The SUV crossed through two oncoming lanes and uprooted a tree on a downhill stretch that police said is known for wrecks.  The athlete is currently in Florida recovering from multiple surgeries.  After Wednesday's press conference, Woods took to Twitter to say that the investigation into his crash was closed and thank the "good samaritans" and first responders who came to his rescue.  "I will continue to focus on my recovery and family, and thank everyone for the overwhelming support and encouragement I've received throughout this very difficult time," he wrote.
