The Mario Movie finally got its digital release, so of course I had to jump right onto that! Illumination's Super Mario Bros Movie (2023) didn't need to be as good as it was. But it came out as a masterfully crafted love letter to all things Mario and a whole bunch Nintendo too - with all sorts of references and easter eggs to all kinds of games as little details.
