Bassist Gene Perla visited CJC Creative Jazz Club Aotearoa, in Auckland, New Zealand, with a stellar band to recreate the magic of Elvin Jones' Live at the Lighthouse album, on which he'd played.
Here they play the album's opening track, Fancy Free, by Donald Byrd.
