So much memories with this one. It's probably the first theme that really strike, impose some respect. These are not simple pokemon, they are children of mother nature, the embodishment of her. And this theme, rather short, deliver this perfectly.

19 : Aqua/Magma Boss Battle from ORAS- 8:37

Quite a horrific tune. There is very few theme eary like this in pokemon. The piano, the strange noises ans the setting makes us incomfortable, ans gives a impression of crazyness. That's perfect for this memorable battle.

16 : Iris Champion Battle - 13:24
I doubt many of you expected this one. But yes, Iris. Please listen carefully. Don't you hear that electric guitar, that rock vibes, all this fun but powerfull spirit that is here ? It's, in my opinion, a great theme despite its girly touch here and there.

15 : Ho-Oh Battle from ORAS - 15:17

14 : Suicune Battle from Crystal - 16:50
An old one, an olg pearl. Despite the time, it stills so great. Why did I choose this version ? Because I find it more mysterious, stressful and eary, more "clear" and more fitting to Suicune. By the way, it's maybe the best original old tune (for me).

13 : Cynthia Champion Battle from BW2 - 18:46
A well known and well loved theme. I'm not in fond of it, but I do recognise that the rhythm, the atmosphere and all is very special.

12 : Dianthea Champion Battle - 20:21
This one is in my opinion much better. It's feminine but powerfull, gracefull but strong, and in general this one touched me much more.

11 : Regis Trio Battle from ORAS - 21:55

10 : Ghetis Battle - 23:07
Another not very famous theme. But when I re-discovered it, I was shocked ! This theme is so freaking epic, unique, badass and all ! It's the best vilain battle theme ever ! It doesn't even sound like it's pokemon any more ! That's so intimidiating ! That drum, these voices ! Just perfect.

9 : Lake Trio Battle from ORAS - 25:31

8 : Elite 4 Battle from ORAS - 27:09
This is one of my most personnal choices. But this ... is the best elite 4 theme ever ! Such epicness ! such build up for some of the best elite 4 members ! I adore it.

A little explication here. Yes, this is my most subjectiv choice. Because I loved more than anything that theme, that fight, that gen entierly. I know it's a little "extreme" to put this at 2nd place, but hey, it's my list !

1 : World Champion Battle from Sun and Moon - 38:01
This is it. The best theme of all, perfectly remixed. The theme I always put in the top 3, but so well redone, it deserves 1st place more than ever. Thanks Hosoda !
