You might say this was the "original" morris dance - Laudnum Bunches, in the Headington tradition, as danced by Headington Quarry Morris Men. Performed here at the Thaxted 75th Anniversary Ring Meeting.
(By "original", I mean this is what was being danced on Boxing Day morning in 1899 when Cecil Sharp noticed, took notes, and inadvertantly kicked off the entire Morris Revival. None of these lads were there at the time, of course.)
