Myoskeletal Massage Therapy Program at Indiana State University

Описание: The successful collaboration between Indiana State University and Freedom From Pain Institute began in 2012. It was aptly named the “Advanced Myoskeletal Massage Therapy” program. This partnership resulted in the only minor degree in massage therapy offered by a major United States university. The program is attracting a variety of health professionals including massage, physical and occupational therapists.

Massage therapy has a spa/relaxation model, but the Myoskeletal Massage Therapy program at ISU is for functional movement, posture, pain performance, and taking you to a more efficient way of moving through life.

Touch therapy is the most rewarding profession, it's healing, helping, comes back to you with immediate and lasting results.
Indiana State University is very forward thinking to establish the only program of its kind in the US with a minor is Massage therapy and now considering making it a bachelor's program, taking it to another level.

As part of Freedom from Pain Institute, I established a scholarship because I believe in touch therapy as a powerful healing modality, I am passionate about it and I want to take a chance with young professionals who are serious and want to make a career out of it. That is what the Erik Dalton Myoskeletal Massage Therapy Endowment Scholarship is all about.
