Major General Andres Centino the incoming 4th Infantry Division Commander who previously led the AFP’s Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations, OJ3, was replaced by Major General Edgardo De Leon who officially assumed as the new J3 in a ceremony held Wednesday, May 27. MGen De Leon vacated the helm of the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Civil Military Operations, OJ7 which was succeeded by Brigadier General Benedict Arevalo, the former Assistant Deputy Chief of Staff for Education and Training, AJ8. He will now spearhead initiatives to further increase the growing civilian support to the military.
