This thiruveezhinathar temple situated at in the village of Thiruveezhimizhalai in Thiruvarur district. this is one of the devara hymns place dedicated to god shiva. 61 Shiva Sthalam on the Southern bank of the river Cauveri in Chozha Nadu.
This is a famous “Parihara Sthalam” to remove obstacles from marriage proposals.
There is a separate shrine for Nandhi which is located under the ground level to one side of the sanctum. It is called “Padhala Nandhi”.
