Hey guys! In this video I am going over the right way to going about compressing r&b vocals. It is pretty commonly seen with beginner to novice mixing engineer to over compress a dynamic vocal. Over compressing a vocal will get rid of a lot of emotion that the vocalist is trying to deliver.
