Описание: The Democratic minority in the House contends there is more work to be done that will make the Farm Bill’s programs more equitable for all farmers, not just pushing more money toward cotton, rice, and peanuts in southern states. Rep. Nikki Budzinski, D-IL, wants to ensure that conservation funding from the Inflation Reduction Act remains available for farmers to ensure they will be able to qualify for biofuel tax credits that require feedstock crops to be produced in programs that are considered “climate-smart.” In this short video, she says otherwise Cornbelt farmers will not see any new Farm Bill funding.
