The LEGENDARY picking pattern - 'ESQUIRE Picking' | Warm Up

Описание: What do ya'll think? Should I start calling this 12/8 thumb and index finger shuffle Esquire Picking?! I am not quite sure it has become legend yet, but I am definitely excited to keep practicing and see how far I can push it. The areas I'm working at most in WAWDWCBD these days are the harmonic section and the repeated series of chords that come maybe 2 themes before it. I am trying to figure out which attacks are important to the sections so I can apply the right accents. When I first started playing this piece, I wasn't able to keep a constant 12 going, so some of the riffs had a feel by default. Now that I can play a constant 12, I feel like I've lost some of vibe. I feel like I am getting closer to where I'd like to be. Just going to take more time!!

I'm playing the 9-String Esquire through a 9V battery powered 4G℞E Amp into the Ampeg 810 as usual. Left channel audio is coming from the 810 close-mic'd with the Marantz PMD 222 and the right channel audio is the output of the 4G℞E Amp into a JDI direct box into a hardware limiter into the camera.
