Nearly 1,000 years old, built in the 11th century on Roman ruins. It’s the largest Norman Keep in Europe and has a fascinating (and slightly eerie) history, including its role during the Essex witch trials.

3️⃣ St. John’s Orthodox Church
A peaceful and beautiful church with a stunning blue and white colour combination, standing out against the winter sky.

One of the oldest watermills in England, surrounded by flowing water and greenery — calm, scenic, and timeless.

We stopped for lunch at Chai Wala — warm food and hot drinks were exactly what we needed before continuing.
