Speaker Nathan Emmelhainz continued our series in Life of Surprise with a message about how we know the sounds of familiar family and friends, so do we recognize the sounds, words, visions, and moves of God? Do we weigh the words we hear?

Pastor Nathan discusses how false prophets do exist, and therefore, 1 Corinthians 14:29 tells us that "Two or three prophets should speak, and the others should weigh carefully what is said". As such, Pastor Nathan, provided the following questions to help discern the words spoke over us or the church:
1. Does it contradict scripture?
2. Does it match God's character?
3. It is what I already wanted to hear?
4. Does it come from somewhere else?
5. Does it resonate with the Spirit's witness?
6. Do I receive it, hold it for later, or reject it?
