NYC: Upper East Side / The Met / Best Slice of Pizza

Описание: Take a stroll with us and enjoy the New York City summer vibrancy and colorful sounds of the Upper East Side. Started the day with a delicious Viennese brunch at Cafe Sabarsky, which is inside of the Neue Galerie, a museum devoted to early 20th century German & Austrian art & design right on 5th Ave. Cafe Sabarsky has been cataloged as one of the best places to eat on the UES. Be prepared to wait in line as the place it's pretty small.

Then we headed to The Met where we enjoyed exhibitions by Lorna Simpson and the Met Gala, Superfine: Tailoring Black Style. The Met was very, very crowded so we didn't stay too long. Also the terrace was closed due to the thunderstorm warning. But no worries, we can always go back anytime. New Yorker's can pay what they wish so that's a plus for us and an incentive to visit more often.

For dinner we took a drive to Williamsburg, Brooklyn and grabbed a few delicious slices at L' industrie Pizzeria. L' industrie also has another location on the West Village .They have been cataloged as "the best place to eat a slice of pizza, probably in the world" by Eater in 2024 and it's on this year's top 20 best pizza places in NYC by the Infatuation. It has also has been highly celebrated by The New York Times, Bloomberg, Vogue and Bon Appetit amongst others.

Have you tried it? Let me know in the comments if you think is really one of the best pizzas in NYC and/or the world or if it's just all hype. Their pistachio gelato and olive oil cake are superb too. I think this NYC pizzeria is a must.

Hope you enjoy the sounds & noises while we walk along Museum Mile, and other UES avenues like Madison Ave, Park Ave and The Met. Also, the sounds, noises and views of New York City while we drive around Mahattan and back and forth to Brooklyn are pretty spectacular. Enjoy a ride on the Brooklyn Bridge with great NYC views as the Statue of Liberty and the amazing NYC architecture that we all love.
