Ok so since i promised an explanation for what exactly caused this ill give one: Hating simulator week for the duality timeline goes differently than usual. For those of you who know what a "Doomsday timeline" is, this is pretty much what goes down. for those who dont, its pretty much pixel week but spirit dies before senpai. in this case, during short circuit, spirit was damaged too far in the times he came out, so he just sort of faded away and never burst out of senpai. at this point though, the game was too far gone to really assure senpai's survival, so he was just left as a glitchy mess inside the game. combine that with the sort of leftovers of spirit still there and the fact that bf was abruptly brought out of the game by a gunshot (pretty much like not ejecting a harddrive properly), senpai gets corrupted as opposed to deleted. the reason hes able to survive in the real world is because he's sort of held together by the corruption itself as opposed to having an actual host. If he were to uncorrupt, he would simply fade out of existence.
