Faced with snowy, muddy, and icy conditions, I've swapped my Speedland GS:PGH for the La Sportiva Blizzard GTX.
The Blizzard GTX has been my trusted winter trail companion for the past two seasons, and its durability ensures it will continue to be my go-to for winters to come. I'm particularly fond of its deep lugs, some of which boast tungsten spikes, providing excellent traction on ice and frozen slush. With the added bonus of GORE-TEX, this shoe allows me to confidently step ankle-deep into various terrains while keeping my feet dry.
