Jesus answered using the Parable of the Good Samaritan.
He taught that keeping God’s commandments is important,
but love is more important than this.
He told us not to be like a priest and a Levite who saw a man
dying on the road after being robbed and just passed by,
but be like a Samaritan who had pity on him and showed mercy."
