Conquer the fear of falling from a handstand with these 5 tips for beginners.
Lately I've recieved lots of questions about how to overcome the fear of handstands. To help you out I'll give you the 5 handstand tips that I used as a beginner to conquer the fear of falling:
1. Create a strong base by doing this drill ( 0:15 ): this is what helped me the most to keep my elbows locked all the time and get a stable handstand. My clients handstand have actually improved a lot by just mastering this position.
2. Feel your weight on your hands ( 0:59 ): this was my first step to getting all your weight on my hand but while still being on a very safe position
3. Get used to being upside down doing this ( 1:13 ): it's key to start early being upside down. This simple exercise did the trick for me.
4. Master the worst case scenario ( 1:31 ): so what do you do when you actually fall? Just learn one of these two exits.
5. How To Baby Step Your Way Into a Handstand ( 2:26 ): this last tip is what will actually give you the last bit of confidence to get into a handstand.
