"Aremu rindineddha" is a traditional song from the hellenophonic area of the Puglia region in Southern Italy. In some towns of this region and also in Calabria, Greek is still spoken since the ancient times, although it is slightly different from standard modern greek and has a lot of influence from the Salentino dialect of the Sicilian language. Usually, the latin alphabet is used for the language, and the greek one is mostly used in poetry, I decided to use it in this video as it is often overlooked upon.
