Psalm 116 is another one of the six Egyptian Hallel Psalms sung by Jesus with His disciples on the night of His betrayal and arrest. Perhaps more than any of the other five songs in the collection, Psalm 116 prophetically gives us the words and heart of Jesus as He was about to face the ordeal of the cross.
it is about being grateful for a life of deliverance and answered prayers.
