In this episode we sit with Founder of Avery In Africa and Social Coding - Thembiso Magajana where we look at Women In Tech in the context of South Africa.
Thembiso originally started her career in the finance industry, but migrated to technology to take advantage of the digital divide in South Africa and equip disadvantaged South Africans with the skills and resources to navigate digital technology.
She walks us through the importance of integrating digital literacy skills in our communities to achieve the government's 2023 agenda which aims to have digital education implemented in schooling curriculums and further identifies the need for more women in the tech space.
