The webinar showcases two unique services working in different settings, both aiming to ensure people can access the right support. You will hear:
1. An overview of the support provided by the Glasgow Helps team to empower anyone who needs some help using an empathetic and non-judgemental approach, tailoring their support to individuals and building resilience.
2. An overview of the different types of emergency crisis support provided by NHSGGC Support & Information Service to inpatients, outpatients, carers, family members and staff in hospitals across NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde. This includes emergency food parcels for anyone who has no food at home, small cash grants to enable pregnant women to attend hospital appointments, cash grants to support families with a child in hospital, support with home energy costs and financial support for staff in crisis.
