Follow along and learn how to dye Easter eggs naturally using Trader Joe’s products...
0:10 | Combine 4 cups water and 2 tablespoons TJ's White Modena Vinegar in medium pot.
0:14 | Bring water to a boil and add dye ingredients, one batch at a time.
0:17 | For YELLOW eggs: 3 tablespoons TJ’s Organic Ground Turmeric
0:18 | For BLUE eggs: 1 package TJ’s Frozen Blueberries
0:19 | For GREEN(ish) eggs: 2 cups TJ’s Organic Pomegranate Juice
0:21 | For PINK eggs: 2 cups chopped TJ’s Fresh Organic Beets
0:26 | Lower heat and simmer your natural dye for 30 minutes and let cool.
0:37 | If using beets or blueberries, strain dye before using.
0:44 | Add eggs to large glass jars (plastic will stain!) and cover with cooled dye.
0:49 | Let eggs sit for 30 minutes to a few hours—the longer they sit, the deeper the color.
0:53 | Remove eggs and gently pat dry with paper towels.
0:58 | Happy hunting!
