Thanks to the advancements in modern technology, it’s getting easier and easier for authorities to locate anyone; an unidentified criminal, an anonymous web-user, or a sinister phone-caller. But it wasn’t always that way: back in the 1970s and 80s, it was much harder for authorities to gain leads from these phone calls, to the point that the phone became a direct line to a victims life, a way to torment, and terrify, with the criminal safe and seemingly untouchable on the other side of the wire.
