Remember laying vocals down is the easy part. But understand if all you do is do vocals? your not talented..

A 5 year old can make a hot song. Recording music isn't the talent anymore. You have to be able to do more with your alleged talent or hang it up.

People in this world think because they have had success or have a college degree or joined the force or became a informant what they say is valid. I don't have a college degree and I'm smarter then alot of people who have these credits and credentials. Hire me. I am a asset to anyone who can open the door for me. Independent artist and rappers are the reason it's so hard for independent they think because you pay for a feature that this is going to help them if your not famous that feature you pay for you getting no shout out and and if you do that's a extra fee. I invest in myself and marketing tactics and campaigns like a politician. I will never pay for a feature with anyone. We do the record? market it correctly and the funds come in on the backend and you divide and split accordingly.

If it's your beat like exclusive? that cost money bro. That's a investment. But see I'm just different I can make my own beats and do whole album when I feel like it or if I feel like it.. so I just do mixtapes rn. Sat on a couple albums.. If you don't or can't create a buzz with mixtapes? then there is no reason to release a album. You have to build and create anticipation.

Currently Youtube is a great platform for independent artist and musicians. Alot of producers even let you use there beats free for non profit which is a great way to build your buzz. You can also use the music in youtube music. On IG you will need a distributor been there and done that. On IG you will also have to own the beat in order to distribute the record and sale it.

Works the same way as corrupt spotify. Just don't like spotify though and your listeners start over every month? if you tuned in? stupid spotify should make people subscribe or you don't hear anything.. I would like to work at one of these substantial prominent companies I would be one of the best things that happened to the company.
