The easiest way to make this recipe at home without a mold! The pistachio filling uses simple, readily available ingredients. This doesn’t disappoint, I recommend it 10/10!!
Ingredients:
•1/3rd cup roasted pistachios - ground up
•1/2 cup white chocolate
•1 teaspoon Tahini
•Green food colour (optional)
• 1-2 Tbsps Pistachio butter(optional)
Chocolate:
•1/3rd cup dark compound or dark chocolate
•1/3rd cup milk compound or milk chocolate
• 3 Tbsps Ghee
•1/2 cup Kunafa - chopped
•2 tbsps white chocolate + Yellow colour or turmeric powder
Process:
Start by melting the white chocolate and add turmeric powder for the colour
Line your tin with parchment paper - you could also use a silicone mould
Drizzle the white chocolate in the mould and set it the refrigerator/freezer
In the meantime, chop the kunafa and cook it on a low-medium flame in ghee until golden brown and crispy
Melt dark and milk compound or chocolate and pour 1/2 of it in the mould to form the first layer of the bar and refrigerate - the compound will set at room temperature as well
For the paste , lightly roast the pistachio (optional) and add it to the blender with tahini, food colour and salt- blend till it breaks down
Add the white chocolate and blend till the mixture is smooth
Mix the paste and kunafa together until well combined
Add it to the mould leaving space at the edges
Pour the remaining melted chocolate and let it set in the fridge for 20 minutes or at room temperature (in case of compound chocolate)
After it has completely set, de mould it and Enjoy!!
