Welcome to Takengon, Land of Gayo Coffee.
It is located in the heart of the Gayo Highlands, Central Aceh. Takengon Fresh Water Lake Laut Tawar is one of the biggest tourist attraction. You can find organic coffee plantains as you go out of Takengon town. There are lots of small farmer plantation all around Takengon.

I was stayed only for one day and my day started with exploring the Takengon Market and Shops. I was invited even to taste Organic Gayo Coffee. It was one of the Awesome coffee I have come across and drink with jaggery. Thats Ultimate. If you a Coffee Lover, must visit to understand from where these coffees are coming.
