Former White House strategist Steve Bannon has claimed the Democratic Party are "bankrupt of ideas".
Mr Bannon argued the Democrats have relied too heavily on the support of Wall Street, the media, and Silicon Valley, and have failed to develop a compelling vision for the future.
“They are bankrupt of ideas and here's why. For so many years they rested on Wall Street in the media to carry them and the apartheid state of Silicon Valley.
“Tomorrow at the ceremony they're making a big deal about Elon Musk being there and Zuckerberg. That's a surrender ceremony.
“They were progressive Democrats. What it shows you is that we broke the globalists in this country.”
