Toyota is developing a new 2.0-liter engine based on the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA), a development structure that promotes constant car improvement.

The 2.0-liter 4-cylinder gasoline engine with direct injection Dynamic Force Engine employs a high-speed combustion technique and a variable control system.
Its higher thermal efficiency gives it a high power, thanks to the reduction of the energy losses due in particular to the cooling, exhaust systems and the movement of the mechanical parts.
The petrol 2.0 liter 4-cylinder in-line engine has a thermal efficiency of 40%.
Compared to existing engines currently, torque is greater at all speeds.
The engine meets future national anti-pollution legislation
