Gardening in Zone 4b takes patience. Sometimes the soil is ready (dry) 6 weeks before our last frost date! This means it also takes great discipline to only plant those crops that you know can withstand a good frost and even snow. in this video we planted hull peas, and snap peas, spinach, cut lettuce. all of these crops thrive in cooler weather. Other things we will plant before our frost date
(May 15th )but closer to May, radishes, carrots, beets, potatoes, broccoli, cauliflower and cabbage.
