My (personal) three top tips for new #MC1 users to line up to a digital centre line for the first time..
I say ‘new’ users because after a few weeks you’ll find your own favourite way of doing it and it will become second nature…
No1 - Turn the machine image off (this will give you a better view of the cross hairs you are trying to line up with the reference line)
No2 - Go to ‘settings’ and hit ‘slope lines extension’. This will make the cross hairs bigger… and size matters here!
No3 - Line the cab up parallel with the tracks then don’t touch the levers! Use the tracks to get you where you need to be and as you are tracking, focus on the plan view to line those cross hairs up with the ref line.
If you do this your alignment should be good, with the smallest of corrections required as you pull…
