Описание: We spent a couple of days here. I did more hiking than I've ever done in my life ... and with a severe case of the flu. And I still enjoyed it! The cliffs are a result of the sandstone being protected from erosion by a layer of basalt. Where the basalt was thin or non-existant, the sandstone has eroded straight down. You can see more of this type of geology in the surrounding area, in our video on the way from Gayndah to Carnarvon Gorge.
