In this video I will share with you what I think the best Tattoo Needles For Beginners are and I will show you why.

When we are just starting out as a brand new tattoo artist the question arises what is the best needle for us to start with? This will surely vary from artist to artist as we all have different preferences. Where I feel the best place for any beginner tattoo artist to begin is with round shaders and for a few very good reasons.

Round shaders are a great place for any beginner to begin because they not only are prone to causing less trauma to the skin, they are more forgiving to our mistakes and round shaders can show us more of what we are doing wrong. With these reasons alone I would recommend to any new artist to begin practicing with a 5, 7, or 9 round shader.
