A shocking incident has surfaced from Pushpavati Puth village under Bahadurgarh police station area in Hapur district, Uttar Pradesh. On the day of Holi, around 3 PM, Vijay Kumar alias Vijay Kewat (aged around 35–40) was targeted in broad daylight near Nat Baba Mazar on the main road.

According to local sources, bike-borne assailants opened multiple rounds of fire. Eyewitnesses claim that six rounds were fired, out of which three hit Vijay Kumar, while others missed. He was immediately rushed to the Community Health Center in Garhmukteshwar, where doctors declared him dead.

Police officials including SP Kunwar Gyananjay Singh, CO Stuti Singh, and SHO Dheeraj Malik reached the spot and initiated an investigation. Based on the family's complaint, an FIR has been registered against three named accused. Police teams have been formed, and security forces from Garhmukteshwar and Bahadurgarh have been deployed in the village due to tense conditions.

Vijay Kewat had three sons, two of whom had previously passed away due to illness. The tragic incident has left the family devastated and the entire village in shock.
