On the occasion of International Women's Day, we are proud to present a film by Afghan artist Barmak Akram for Zarif Design. Zarif is a women-owned and managed social enterprise established by Zolaykha in 2005.
Zarif's primary mission is to revive Afghanistan's artistic culture, providing training and job opportunities for Afghans, mostly women; using fashion as a way to connect and empower communities of weavers, tailors, and embroidered.
