Описание: Today Meagan is fixing up a quick supper, that's one of their favorites! Cube steak with gravy, deviled eggs, green beans and potatoes, and some old fashioned pone bread. For dessert we are throwing together a quick applesauce cake that I know you are going to love! You can find the recipe below.

Applesauce Cake
1/2 cup applesauce
1/2 cup milk or you can use water
3 tbsp oil (I used melted lard)
2 tsp vanilla
1 tbsp ACV
1 1/2 cups AP flour
1/3 cup sugar
1 tsp salt
3/4 tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 --1/2 tsp cinnamon
chopped nuts or raisons are also a great addition

Preheat oven to 350 degrees, combine wet ingredients. Add in dry ingredients and combine. Grease 8x8 pan, spread into pan. Bake for 18 minutes.

For the glaze
2 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2-4 Tbsp of milk (or add until it is the consistency you'd like)

Combine the above. Spread or pour over cake once its cooled. Enjoy!

Pone Bread Recipe (This is the full recipe, I halved this recipe in the video)
2 1/2 cups self rising flour
1 1/2 Tbsp sugar
Sprinkle of salt
2 tbsp lard
Approx 1-2 cups milk or buttermilk

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Mix dry ingredients. Add in lard, like you are making biscuits. Add milk, mix until all dry ingredients are moist and pourable. Pour in cast iron pan or glass baking dish, cook for 20-30 min or until top is golden brown. Let cool and enjoy anytime of day!
