Will Embodied AI Become Sentient

Описание: In this video, I tackle a very difficult subject, whether AIs will acquire sentience. I tackle this from a technical perspective, using the ideas of four Turing-award winners to show that the kinds of processes that could lead to sentience can exist in machines, but also that they are difficult to study using traditional objective scientific methods. The recording is made when I gave this talk at Chalmers in Gothenburg, Sweden. A couple of months earlier, I gave a similar talk at TU Dortmund in Germany.
