International overlanding is about as similar to U.S. based overlanding as car camping is to backpacking. When we take on Guanajauto, we never put the truck into 4x4, but instead we simply braved the steep and narrow streets to experience this colorful and radiant city carved into the hills. We camped in our pop-up camper overlooking the city, and walked nearly 30,000 steps in a day where we checked out the Mummy Museum, drank chocortados, and had some of the very best carnitas.
