We went to Fanø on the ferry from Esbjerg (Denmark) and spent 3 days there. First of all, we revisited the famous Fanø Bryghus (brewery), which we actually ended up visiting once more during our stay at this wonderful little island. We also walked through Sønderby's old houses and to the dunes with holes made by wild rabbits, when they were still there. A long drive on the wide beach was also part of this trip, as well as visits to the church, the cemeteries, the mill and finally, of course, buying rullepølse from butcher Christiansen in Nordby. If you ever have the chance, visit Fanø, you won't regret it. Watch our video and get convinced.
