Tom Allen is Indiana's head football coach and 2020 Big 10 coach of the year. Heading into his 5th season, Allen has led Indiana to a 24-21 record, back-to-back winning seasons and has three wins over top-25 opponents. The Hoosiers finished the 2020 season 6-2 and 12th in the AP Top 25. He won multiple coach of the year awards last year. Allen previously served as the defensive coordinator at Indiana and South Florida. He spent time as an assistant at Ole Miss, Arkansas State, and Drake, among other programs. He is a native of New Castle, Indiana,
