In these mysteries we proclaim that evil does not have the final word: Christ is alive, and where He reigns, hope can be born again.

Today’s intention: world peace — an end to violence. Lord, disarm the hands that harm, and also the hearts captured by resentment. Grant conversion to those who cause war, persecution, and crime. Protect the innocent—children, the elderly, migrants, the displaced, the wounded, the kidnapped, and all who are trapped in fear. Comfort those who have lost loved ones, and dry their tears with Your mercy.

We pray for those who serve in danger: doctors, volunteers, journalists, rescuers, law enforcement, and honest authorities. Give them prudence, strength, and upright hearts. Enlighten leaders to choose justice and the common good over personal interests. Open paths of dialogue, and stop violence where it seems endless.

Lord, we also ask for peace in daily life: peace in our homes, streets, schools, and workplaces. Free us from aggressive speech, mockery, contempt, revenge, and the desire to “win” by humiliating others. Make us peacemakers: help us listen, respect, yield when needed, and correct without wounding. Teach us to respond with gentleness, and not repay evil with evil.

Holy Spirit, bring Your light where there is confusion and Your comfort where there is pain. Kindle in us a courageous love—the love that does not hate, divide, or destroy; the love that rebuilds. May today’s prayer become a seed of peace.

Blessed Virgin Mary, Queen of Peace, intercede for the world. Cover those who suffer, protect the innocent, and strengthen all who work for justice. And teach us, Mother, to be peaceful and firm, humble and brave. Amen.
