In this honest test, I use Maris Piper potatoes, a tablespoon of olive oil, and cook at 200°C for 45 minutes to find out whether this machine delivers crispy, fluffy chips — or just disappointment.
No hype. No waffle. Just a proper test.
⏱ Method:
• Maris Piper potatoes
• 1cm evenly cut chips
• Soaked 20–30 minutes
• Thoroughly dried
• 1 tbsp extra vrgin olive oil
• 200°C for 45 minutes
• Paddle engaged
Are they chip shop chips? No.
Are they properly golden and crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside? Yes.
