This is a video I've been wanting to make for a really long time - because it's something I wish I had as an asset when I started taking music more seriously. If you're anything like me, then you'll go through periods of time where you feel energised to take ACTION for your music career, with very specific tasks.

Video editing your media assets is one of those activities that sits at the sideline on my "to-do" list collecting dust... and I know I'm not alone. I also know that I'm not alone in frequently finding the inspiration to do something when I have none of the tools to do it!

Today's video is all about harnessing that energy you've found to actually do the work of editing video assets for your music - whether that's music videos, lyric videos, social media ads or Spotify Canvases - and giving you the tools you need to be able to take action when that energy strikes.

I also speak briefly about licensing agreements regarding the videos that you source for your music projects, and the importance of making sure you have the permission to use the videos you find!
