In this video, our family (with a 3-year-old and 6-year-old in tow!) walks from the Grand Cayman cruise port to the public mini bus depot to experience the island the local way—and save some money while we’re at it!

We caught a YELLOW mini bus to the Turtle Center for just $12 USD for all four of us, then headed to beautiful Seven Mile Beach ($12 again), and finally back to the port area—all without a tour guide or expensive excursion.

The buses were safe, easy to use, and incredibly affordable. The drivers weren’t chatty tour guides, but they got us where we needed to go quickly and comfortably. If you're looking for a budget-friendly, do-it-yourself way to explore Grand Cayman, this is a great option!
