Can I make this awful tuning sound good?

In this video, I randomly generated a guitar tuning and then wrote a short piece of music with it. The tuning ended up being D D# E F A# D from the lowest to the highest string. I think I made it work pretty well!

When arranging my piece, I was primarily inspired by Hayden Pedigo's recent album, "I'll Be Waving As You Drive Away". Great acoustic/americana instrumental music.

If you've read this far: let me know if you have any feedback on the mix and recording fidelity of the song. I like wearing fingerpicks on my fingers as it gives notes more clarity, though it comes with a clicking/squeaking quality that is sometimes hard to work around. Any advice on recording acoustic guitars and dealing with these types of undesirable sounds would be appreciated!
