This was my first attempt on Castleton Tower. Turns out old school 5.9 can be a little stout. The original plan was for me to lead every pitch and get the base jumpers to the top. This was my first multi-pitch off-width experience and I learned that climbing with a backpack on can be extremely difficult. I learned a-lot from this experience and what I could do better next time. Bringing 4 people up takes time and I plan to manage that time mjuch better on my next attempt. We pushed as long as we could but had to bail because we were losing daylight.
